Re: Experimenting with Lightroom 6 HDR
Christina,
You're probably fine when referring to the dynamic range as high. For me, the term high dynamic range seems to refer to the product category of software or to a file produced by that software. I tend to think of a scene as having a narrow or wide dynamic range, not a high or low range. However, considering that common terminology refers to HDR software that produces HDR files, it's only logical then that the scenes they record could also be said to have a high dynamic range.

Re: Experimenting with Lightroom 6 HDR
Bruce...
It's very nice to hear that I've inspired you to give it a try. I'm very much looking forward to seeing your images.
Joe...
Perhaps you can use Photoshop Elements using layers, LR Enfuse or another program to combine exposures? I've heard some folks say that they prefer to combine exposures manually for the control it offers.
Mike...
Yes, very likely a combination of the names of the software and the high points on the histogram. Thank you as always for taking the time to teach me, which others also learn from. I've edited my reply to include a nice explanation from a book.
Gayathrie..
I suppose it is LR's HDR that is responsible for the colours (as well as the scene)... Funny how the program didn't work out well on the 1st image but worked for the 3rd image.
