I like Jeff's edit, Ziggy...Ziggy and Zutty...(btw love calling you Ziggy...) you two sounds like twins.
Don't mind at all Jeff. I like what you've done.
Nice capture Alan, I like Jeffs edit althogh In still think it needs a slight clockwise turn?
Definite improvement with Jeff's edit, lovely scene!
Not a problem Jeff, except that it just wasn't all that green out there that day. This was taken at the southern tip of Big Sur and they hadn't had that much rain so things weren't GREEN, but just green. Know what I mean?
I do.I envy you...Boy, I wish I could see Big Sur and drive and photograph the PCH just once before I croak...It's pretty up here in Maine but frigid for half the year...Sorry, I just really like your photo and was trying to have fun with it. No offense intended.
None taken at all Jeff.
Yes, Hwy 1 along the California coast is a special trip, especially between SLO and Monterrey. I've had the pleasure of doing it a number of times, in and on various vehicles. This photo was a lucky shot as there wasn't any fog to speak of, which is a pretty rare happening during that time of year. I felt very lucky to get the shot. I've never posted what I feel is the 'best' shot of that series taken that morning 'cause I want it all for myself. I use that one for my desktop.
If/when you do take the trip west, be sure to allow time to visit Hearst Castle which is down 'round the bend to the left in the picture. Really worth the time to take a few tours there.
Very nice shot, I like the crop
