Rules of Engagement:
1. Image must have been taken this month (June) (or thereabouts) eg if you took a shot towards the end of last month, but didn't have time to enter it in last month's competition, then that's fine(I just want to encourage people to "get out and get shooting", and not to just submit historic work).
2. Enter as many images as you like, but only 1 per post please
3. No theme
4. Please change the title of your post to reflect your image name (it makes it much easier for people to refer to your image that way

Taken at twilight in late May.
The red glow in the sky was melting into the floodlights on this famous island.
Mont-St-Michel is best known for the medieval Benedictine Abbey and steepled church that occupies most of the 1km-diameter clump of rocks jutting out of the waters of the English Channel.
