Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops and processing.

Nice capture, watch out for cropping errors, the top of the head and the limbs should be considered when composing the shot.

Hi Raj,

Cropping of limbs at the joints can be a bit unsettling to some, better to capture all of the hands/arms or delicately crop mid limb; just be careful that when doing so you don't crop something else like a necklace or neckline. Regarding the head, you can artistically crop the head but it looks better when the shot is head only, with the shot provided it looks like it was captured hastily or cropped afterwards without fully considering the overall look.

In addition to the way of handling "amputations" that John has already covered; i.e. don't do it at the joint, but rather above the joint.

The second thing that strikes me is the position of her eyes; they are pointed camera right so we get an expansive view of the whites of her eyes. Sometimes you can get away with this, but definitely not here; the composition would have been much stronger had shee been looking straight ahead so that the eyes are more in the middle or perhaps a touch camera left, with white showing on either side of her irises.

Always be aware of backgrounds too.

By moving her to your right by say a foot or two, you would have naturally avoided the grass and dark opening to the left of the picture which detract from the portrait itself.

Nevetheless, a very pretty subject and the lighting is about right for the situation.
