Helper Dog
It's nearly impossible to do anything without someone wanting attention. Here Boodoo picked up a scrape of wood in the hope that I would chase her. She's either wanting to play or somewhere - literally - within arm's reach of me. I guess things could be worse.

Re: Helper Dog
Jack dogs should not be using power tools without eye protection.
Sorry my bad, I see Boodoo has the eyes well covered.

Re: Helper Dog
Jim, underneath that mop is a nifty pair of doggles! Besides, she's only allowed to use the cordless, she had a tendency to chase the cord otherwise.

Re: Helper Dog
Boodoo's expression is priceless Jack...she looked like she was baiting you...did you fall for it??? You could have cut yourself with the power tool...yes, it could have been worse...for you.
Thanks for another laugh, Jack...

Re: Helper Dog
Hmmmm... he seems to like wood.... Maybe if I offer him this piece of wood, he'll play with me....
I never tire of seeing your dog, Jack. It makes me want to buy a house just so I could have a dog again.

Re: Helper Dog
Izzie, she is constantly baiting me into a game of chase. So far she's taken off with a (good) paint brush, which she dropped when I barked at her and a foam sanding block which she tore to bits. But this picture is her typical pose when she's bored and wants to play. No worries with the power tools, always careful.

Re: Helper Dog
Thanks Greg! Her favorite pastime is chasing after sticks, once she gets the stick she drops down and chews on it, so to keep the game going you need have two sticks (or two balls), one to throw and the other to entice her back. She'll come, drop the stick or ball she has for the one she's doesn't. This game is endless.

Re: Helper Dog
Richard, she wants to help at whatever I'm doing...so long as it involves her stealing something and me trying to get it back.

Great candid shot, Jack. Anyone who has ever had a dog recognizes that look in an instance!
