    A very tasteful use of that effect. However, review the detail in the grass adjacent to the left side of the dancer's leg and the right side of his foot where the effect accidentally was not applied.

    Getting a good shot of the dancers at one of these events is not easy, in my experience. There is simply too much whirling and twirling around with dancers getting in front (and behind) each other.

    I'm not sure that either of these shots quite work as the dancer almost seems to be "floating" without being anchored to the ground. The shadow often ends up being the anchor, and the blurred anchor, camera right is not working for me. I'm not sure if fixing that isn't going to introduce other issues.
