    Brian -- that stick at the right hand side definitely distracts my view. It was the first thing that I saw when I opened your image...what do you think?

    You either have very strange eyes or you're right.

    But in my vision the two grayish twigs are holding the rose up. Take one away and it all falls down?

    Very nice rose Brian, beautiful color I think I prefer the landscape format rather than the vertical frame for this particular image. That stick on the RHS doesn't bother me but IMO highlights on it needs reducing a bit selectively.

    But Brian, in your mind, they are holding the rose but in the image, it sort of distracts because it is what my eyes keep going to.

    Hi Izzie, part of the problem we are having is that CiC for whatever reasons does not put up the same shot that either of my blogs show or Gimp creates. If you go here or here you may notice that the twig is not nearly as pronounced.

    I grant you I could have toned it down but so far you are the only one who wants it gone.
