    Needed a fisherman/woman

Took this photo a few days ago at Huntsmans lake, Meander Valley Tasmania.
It was overcast, miserable and cold but I had a B&W image in mind before I got to the location so bright and cheery was not what I was after.
I had ideally hoped to get a fly fisherman in the shot as this is a popular spot for recreational fishing and use him/her as a focal point but no-one obliged.
    Chose a rock instead
It was one of those days when you set out knowing what you want to capture but life just doesn't co-operate, Oh well, next time
    Cheers, Greg

Very nice Greg, you should have hit the 10 second timer and climbed on that rock yourself!

Guess you didn't think of that one, eh?

Anyway...nice and simple and clean shot..I like the reflection of the sky on the water...This looks like a shallow fishing area...Good shot...

A fisherman might have looked like a cliché. You did well to use the rock formation.

Greg, I think you pretty much nailed it as is. People in photos are highly overrated anyway ;-)

Paul A. the Emperor of Dune also found that the universe did not often work the way he wanted. It is really not too critical how the world is compared to how we create from what is there. You have created beautifully.

Enough pontificating I need more coffee.
