    Doug, this is an attractive image. I suppose my one comment might be that the focus appears a bit soft. What focal length lens were you using?

    It is often difficult/impossible to get everything totally sharp in this sort of scene without having background problems. The only alternative means manual focusing, on a tripod, and doing a merge of at least two different focus points; providing you have suitable editing software.

    Yes, I have to agree, a wee tad soft, and I will shoot these roses again, but I was enthralled by the way the center looked like a fire, and the flames were reflected on the petals. This is not pp.

    I like the simplicity of the shot, Doug...no wonder it caught your attention...the second one is a bonus with the bee. I still prefer the first one...
