green sweat bees, big and small
We seem to be having a convention of sweat bees today. This first one is relatively large, perhaps half the length and width of a honeybee. It's on a white dahlia. 100mm, 48mm tube.
This one is far smaller, under 1 cm and very thin. On the petal of a white daisy. Same setup. Even with 48mm extension at minimum working distance, this is perhaps a 20 or 25% crop in each direction.

Push and pull, no preference here...I like both but the green is very nice. I haven't seen one before either..

Re: green sweat bees, big and small
Thanks, all. I actually never noticed most of these species of bees until I startled prowling for bugs for my macro photography. The larger green ones I have not seen to often, but there are lots of tiny bees of various kinds. Some are so small that it's hard to see that they are bees until you get very close.
