Hi Binnur
No problems in viewing the image normally here !
It's a nice image but I wonder should you lift the shadows. It just looks a bit dark to me. Also consider cropping a bit off the top to make it a bit more "panoramic". And finally, you might consider cloning out that bit of barbed wire fence at the bottom.
Just my "two bob's worth", nice work though.

Not elongated on my screen. Very picturesque, could do with a bit of shadow adjustment.
Alternatively, cropping a fraction tighter at the bottom and leaving the full sky might be worth considering. Plenty of dramatic effect in that sky.
Binnur I could be wrong but I think you have posted the same version. Toggling between the two in Litebox I see no difference.
Dave
The risk of slightly brightening dark shadows is that you get a 'muddy' effect instead of clean shadows. But an edit could work better around the water area.
There is only a slight difference between two images Dave If you look at the trees you are likely to notice it. I didn't think of brightening the image very much because when I shot the image the sun disappeared already and it was nearly dark . If the sun was setting and if there were some yellow -orange sun rays I would then consider a brighter version. I don't know if my thinking is right or not
Do you see a muddy effect Geoff, if so, would you please let me know where? Because it is a shot after the sunset, do you think the darkness is normal because we usually get silhouettes in such light conditions. I mean brightening an image which was taken in darkness is reasonable or not?
Looks like a great location to watch the day end.
Hi Binnur
I had a closer look at your second image and I can now see a small difference in the brightness of the shadows. I can see a bigger difference with your third image and in my humble opinion, this is a better look.
Dave
I agree with Dave...the last edit is much better, Binnur...
+1 to Izzie's comment. The third is beautiful!
Beautiful! My preference is the 3rd image as well.
Hi Binnur, whilst a beautiful scene with the lake and reflections in it I find the overall image too dark and busy. With so much there I find my eyes wandering looking for detail that is too much in shadow.
I suspect your exposure was governed by the sky highlight areas caused by the setting sun and wonder if another option would have been to wait a bit longer for the highlights to drop and hence give you a more even exposure balance between sky and land whilst maintaining those reflections in the water.
I quite often find that the sky increases significantly in colour over a wider area with the sun lower behind the horizon, and at times it does not
Binnur I like #3 very much. Such lovely colors.
What a beautiful scene Binnur, I also like no.3 best but still IMO, needs to be brighter
Thanks to everyone for looking and commenting I'm glad that you liked the scene and I will work on the brightness a bit more to improve the image. The thing is I think I have become addicted to B&W images and although I can spend hours on a B&W conversion I don't feel like making the same effort for a color image
May be I'm getting into a style in photography without realizing that it is happening. I keep following B&W photographers on the internet and I'm in love with B&W landscapes. I haven't put a limit for myself about photography since I started and I have let it go whereever it goes. So, let's see what happens in the future
