My first HDR - sunset photo

Not bad at all, however I would probably crop most of the foreground area unless you shot in RAW and can salvage some of the detail. There wasn't enough light in the foreground area and it displays a lot of noise. I assume that the sun and possibly the pylon are your center of interest so concentrate on those images.

You can use the noise reduction function (luminance or color) in Adobe Camera Raw or you can use your HDR generating software to reduce noise. Which program are you using for HDR?

I don't have a Adobe Camera raw.
I am using Photomatix Pro for my HDR. I will try to find that function here.

Hi.

I tried first by lowering the noise using the RAW files in Capture NX and then I recreated the HDR. But it still looks dark at the lower portion.

So I decided to used the CaptureNx built in function(Color Control Point) to brighten up the dark part on the generated HDR. It was easy in there though.

Thanks for the information. I am new to HDR processing myself and started out trying to align three exposures but found the images to appear a bit fuzzy. Working with RAW is so much easier.
