how to set auto iso adjust ?? on 1D iv
Hi All
After a long wait i eventually got my 1d iv. Having had a 1d iii for some time now I thought it is about time to upgrade.
One setting I didn't use so far but seems very usefull is auto ISO adjust.
Apparently there is a setting where I can set a specific exposure combo lets say 1/1000s @ f4 and the camera adjusts the ISO accordingly.
Where would I find this setting
Thanks in Advance
always good light

Re: how to set auto iso adjust ?? on 1D iv
Press the [ISO] button and hold it until selections appear.
Use the MAIN DIAL to Select [A]
The range of ISO will be determined by Cf. 1-3
Note if BULB is selected as the Camera Mode or if a FLASH is registered by the Camera then 400 ISO (or close to it) will be selected and AUTO ISO will not function.
I suggest that you refer to your User Manual to confirm the above as I haven't used a 1D MkIV for a while.

Addendum:
Obviously if you want to "set a specific exposure combo lets say 1/1000s @ f4" then you would need to select [M] as the Camera Mode.

I just did a test myself. The ISO "A"uto is actually doing excactly what i'm looking for. I knew it worked in "Av" Tv" but did not realise it also works in "M"
Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees !!!!
