Bragging and thanking or Thanking and bragging (mods if this is a no-no take it down)

There have been many people in this club who have taken the time to encourage and correct me as I have entered the realm of photography. Today B&H has put my Cicada exoskeleton shot on their web page in the customers photo section to help promote the a58.

I have a hunch that with your more capable camera and with additional experience that you will be able to match and even surpass this image...

Brian, this is a great and well deserved accolade. The Cicada exoskeleton image is outstanding. There is also a lesson there for those who shy away from shooting macro because they believe they do not have the right gear. You, on the other hand, just go for it. It is clear that the larger format is giving you much more control and you are using it to great effect.
Those of us who got involved at the early stages of your research about choice of camera (Manfred, Kathy Li, David etc.) will get great satisfaction from this outcome and it is very interesting to follow the debate about Raw processing.
As regards not getting a shot like this again - this is only the start. We shall watch with great interest.
