Thank you Brian! Yep it certainly look much better!
Very nice shot, Bob...if you do not mind going up to the top of this page and clicking on MY PROFILE it will be nice to remember where you are situated in the world and what you want us to call you as. None of us can remember you saying from where you are later on as we have other things to remember as well in this forum and our shots.
Welcome to CiC. Please do join us in our conversation so we get to know you and you to know us better via yours and our images uploads...
Lovely capture Bob, and welcome to C in C!
Welcome Bob and that's a nice looking Bfly.
Welcome Bob. Very nice shot. I prefer Brian's crop though.
There is another crop option which removes a bit from the bottom and left side but retains the main leaves. I suspect that would need the highlights toning down a little.
Several alternatives here and no firm right or wrong way to do it.
Bob, very nice photo. I, also, like the cropped photo much better.
Welcome to CiC.

Bob, great shot and the colors are amazing, especially how the butterfly matches the flowers that it's feeding on. I much prefer your original crop as it is much more artistic (and perhaps poetic). Unless you're looking for an image that is really just about identifying a particular butterfly. Towards the more artistic, I cloned the two (more or less) horizontal lines beneath the butterfly, cloned out the dark region in the upper LHS and then cropped the left just a bit. The image (in my opinion) works better with the two lateral leaves in your original.
Welcome to CiC Bob.
I have to agree fully with Jack's (flashback) comments and cropping tighter as Brian has done changes it from a very pleasing artistic picture depicting the butterfly wonderfully captured in its environment to just another butterfly plonked in the centre of an image.
Welcome to CiC Bob , a wonderful image to start with.
I was fortunate enough to stay at Sentosa island in 2013 and went to the butterfly enclosure there.
Amazing variety and stunning colours, will be an experience I will never forget.
Greg
Welcome Bob, lovely shot, I find Jack's edit better
