    Bombs bursting in air

I don't normally shoot long exposure shots, but, what better opportunity to give it a try than on July 4th. My neighbors go BIG every year so I didn't have to travel further than my front yard to try my hand at long exposure photography. These are anywhere from 3.5 to 8 sec exposure. I triggered the shutter on the sound of the lifting charge (which shook my windows). How did I do?

I've been fireworks out so we did not go to Macy's last night. We went out for dinner and stayed home because we knew that the dogs will be barking their heads off at the boom-booms...Your fireworks shots works very well...
