    Yes, but does the composition work for you, other than having the starburst?

    I see the trees first and foremost (and they are not particularly interesting). I wouldn't have even picked up on the starburst if you hadn't mentioned it.

    Yes, it does! I did not think it was an outstanding shot, but I was happy with the statburst, and the reflection of the sun in the water. The trees in the foreground allowed me to shoot into the sun and afforded me the opportunity to capture the statburst. Sorry you don't find it interesting.....

    Joe I also noticed what you have there and I like it for what you have achieved in trying to shoot a starburst which I reckon you must have been able to do with a smaller aperture, about F22...a guess. How close am I to my guess?
