I kind of knew you would do it. As you can see in this histogram for the red channel, most of the red pixels are in the dark region, but there are red pixels also that reach the 255 level, right up to the right wall of the histogram. Your flower illustrates the problem with reds very well, and with your new camera you will have a bit of extra leeway in RAW for tricky situations like this. Well done, way to go!

false modesty aside the new camera certainly makes a difference, as does the new Sony Express software. it allows me to tailor individual colours.. Originally Posted by KimC
