    Just Feeling R e l a x e d.

A friend of ours has been voted in as President of a local Sports and Social club and last Saturday, we were invited to her "Presidents Day". It was very pleasant and for some reason, this is the only shot I managed to take.

Can you remember where you left the rest of the camera gear!?

I think that works really well as an image. It's got a lovely, informal, casual, party feel to it. Mind you, I prefer the other tonic - "Schw..........'!

I don't usually like the use of selective color but this works well for me. I like that you left the color in the glassware. Nice composition and depth of field as well.

OK...I had a question but perhaps the comment of Mike took care of that though I still want to ask for confirmation -- is this selective colouring. If it is, I love it...

And another question, why only one shot?

Thanks all for the your comments. An opportunity shot really.

Mike, I suppose this is selective colour in that part of the BG was a red shirt which just had to go. I separated the BG onto a separate layer and de-saturated the red channel and darkened the BG generally. Otherwise there has been no colour selection.

Izzie, it's just that sitting pleasantly in the sun in good company with a large Gin and Tonic, I wasn't energised enough to do anything much other than drink a large Gin and Tonic.
