    Presets or post-processing workflows

When viewing portfolios of others from events and such, there seems to be some standard pictures.
Like the sunny couple pictures with the sun glare, etc...
I wanted to know are there any presets available somewhere or workflows documented to create these sort of post-processed images in LR or PS?

Have you tried the presets (left panel) in LR?

That is usually the result of shooting a back-lit image and the lens flare is "naturally occurring"; you would probably have to look at adding additional light to the faces via flash or large reflector. Add it in post, when the light is wrong, it will look like you "faked it".

Backlighting this way is a common outdoor photography technique as it reduces the likelihood that your subjects will squint and have harsh shadows in their faces, but it does require careful exposure as this type of lighting will "fool" your light meter and result in underexposed subjects.
