William can be intimidating at times, John...![]()

I am glad you are trying a different genre. Although I like the bottom one that looks like an eye with a neck, the top one is really a good one with its hand reaching out, really alien-ist weird with its big head and smallist face, I cannot make out the middle one much though I see something there. Good start...be careful, you might enjoy this very much, you will forget how good you are a architecture and street photography.

John, what lens are you using?...there's a lot of clutter in that...are you close enough?
Hi Chauncey,
I used the 55-200mm Nikkor, I was setup about 4 feet from the smoke and the incense was about ten inches in front of the black board. I had an LED lamp with a makeshift snoot about a foot to the left and an external flash about 4 feet to the right, set at 1/2 power.
Well titled. Definitely recognisable. I was only talking to him the other night when they brought me back.
Never know whether these images are a question of suck it and see or whether the shapes can be manipulated. You do see some interesting examples.
