More from the Adirondacks: two views of a small hoverfly

I worked on a few more from my recent trip to the Adirondacks. These are quite skittish, but they were so attracted to the flowers they were on that I managed to get a few. C&C welcome, as always

Very nice captures I would clone the black part on the lower left side of the frame in #1.

I love both of them, but I like #2 best because it looks like an aeroplane...nice composition there...love it.

Why should you want to do that Binnur? It looks to be an integral part of the image. If I was going to clone out anything, it would be the blob at the bottom centre, which looks like the eye of another hoverfly.

Thanks, all. John and Binnur: I agree with John about the cloning. I think the blob is in fact part of an out-of-focus hover eye.
