Pushing the camera to its extremes, night time wasn't to bad got ISO down but did add some grain during pp. Put a white vignette on it, works for me seems to help my eyes wander over the image.

Very nice IMO it might look better without the vignette though .
I think you are brave to go out during the night to take this shot...Good ones, I like both rendition, the first being an artistic interpretation.
It's good to experiment with your photography. IMO the second image is the best of the three, well done
Very nice Stef, #2 for me as well, though if you have the software to do it I would be tempted to use perspective warp to straighten the first window up a tad
Yes, it looks better wihout the vignette , #2 for me
Thanks Izzie part of the course of being a chef, people seem to want to eat when its getting dark, so was on my way home. I think Greg may of highlighted why I like the vignette.
Thank you Peter, have to say quite like my pp here going to have to be careful though, think its because I always loved pencil drawing.
Hi Greg, mmm it's here not sure it quite worked I've got no editing room, orig not cropped at all. Used a keystone correction, you can see a sliver of no picture in top right the window frame barely has any breathing room. Think I'm happy with the distortion, with the fix it seems to make the first window the focus. Certainly will think about this going forward though.

I probably prefer the 'without vignette' too. But did you try a dark one rather than white ?
Hi Kaye..
I did just bought nothing to it for me, was going to remove it then tried white. Think I like the vignette because it made the lens distortion not so distinct, but I have to admit it bothers me less now.

Thanks for the c&c

It's the second one for me Steff. Not keen on the heavy vignette versions but I like the straight forward version a lot. Can almost see it with a ghostly figure drifting down the stairs.
Thanks John, I had one in the daytime with the back of someone. Just missed it, the light was so much better at night time though.
If I only had the guts to do street, missed opportunity got to say I admire and respect street/portraiture a lot more.
Thanks for the different versions, Stef...I thoroughly enjoy that journey. I like them all but I like the first one better with the white vignette because it has more artistic rendering to it. In fact, because of your shot here, I did the same one in one of my images at the Beermaster Tour we did three weeks ago and I just love it...different from the straightforward ones which I had already done so many of. Thanks for the inspiration...my eyes must be different from all the commenters here...I must be weird or something????
Thanks Izzie.. You're not helping I'm so undecided now, I find both renditions invoke 2 slightly different feelings.
Watch out I've got 1 coming that's going to divide them all....
