    Before and after!

Sometimes its good to revisit locations where you've made images previously. Though I'm not sure that it''s a good idea to leave it fifty plus years

#1 Before, maybe I should have removed the years of dust and scratches but...life adds wrinkles like that too

That's maybe just a bit too much of a time gap!

That is a wonderful pair of images, on so many levels. Superb.

Such a fabulous idea! Is it really the exact same ball 50 years later or is it just a similar ball?

Mike it's the same ball, well a cloned version of it but my photo shop skills leave a lot to be desired.

Well done Peter, what a good idea.

As a kid you had more "attitude" with the arm positions, the facial expression and the hair over the forehead. But I guess we all mellow with age !

I thought you may like to see the main purpose for my visit to the location. This is a view in the opposite direction looking down from the top of the cliff you see behind me in #1 and #2. Unfortunately I don't have a before image to compare the buildings. My memory suggests that the buildings in the early sixties weren't as colourful (television in the UK I think was still black and white and then and with only two terrestrial channels). but other than that there's very little if any new buildings.

I'm glad you didn't mention my blonde highlights Dave
I had my hands behind my back to hide two water bottles. One mine the other my photographers assistants. They were recycled after this shot, as the next stop was the Cod and Lobster for a swift half.

You mean to say those two/three buildings are still standing after all these years??? Amazing difference then and now...with you but not the background...how time flies...You've got the Elvis pout/pose...

Great idea, you should combine the two images side by side, have it framed and hang on your wall
