    Slot car photo's

The link below should take you to the edited slot car photo's from Monday night, hopefully
For a first attempt I am reasonably happy with them.
Next week I'm going to go about it differently relying on ambient light and see what I can get from that.
    Cheers, Greg

I think you did very well for shooting inside.

When I was a kid a local hobby shop had a nice track in the basement. Brings back memories.

Greg...not bad...I like the light....out of curiousity, why don't you use the video feature of your camera (if it has any..) then choose the good shots from the separate frames...just a thought...

Psstt....John (Shadowman) asked me this question too when I started doing bird shots. I thought it was a good idea too but I have not tried it yet...when I remember I will...

Never gave it a thought to be honest Izzie, the A99 does have video and from what I have read is pretty good so I will give it a try on Monday night

Would be interesting to watch and also pick the selected stills from some of the frames...I am excited to see the result so I can dive in the same way with my sparrows' BIFs.

All very nice Greg I also looked at your other images on flickr, they are lovely. Do you use a macro lens for your flower and bug shots are they heavily cropped images?

I use a Tamron 90mm macro lens. Good allrounder and value for money and most of my images would be cropped, some more heavily than others.
    Thanks for looking Binnur
