I've seen this kind of leaf around every now and then and I think they are beautiful...your shot here even emphasized that beauty found in nature. Good background also helps here. Love it...

Nicely done. That's what it looks like to me. There are a variety of species of Japanese maples, some small trees and others just shrubs. We have one of the latter in our yard.
