    A walk by the Bay

Took this in the late afternoon yesterday while out for a walk along the west shore of the Hamilton Harbour Bay.

    A walk by the Bay

I could not see the sunset, which was behind me, but the colours reflected from the clouds in the east were quite nice.

Joe, if this mine, I will brighten it a little bit...I am still trying to determine what that thing is in the sky right at the top, a little bit orangy like a fish...but it cannot jump that far....???

    Joe:
Try Lightroom's Color Effex Pro and apply the Graduated Neutral Density filter. You can lighten up the area of the boats and tone down the highlights /bring up the color in your clouds. Great potential here.

Thanks Izzie. Yes its a fish! No just kidding. It's the remnant of some cloning I did to remove some leaves from an overhanging tree. I guess it left a ghost up there. Your eyes are too good!

Thanks Bud. I've heard a lot about Color Effects Pro. I must try it. I use the standard Lightroom graduated filter ( not in this case) but don't like the grey tone it gives. Am also thinking of getting an actual lens mounted graduated filter but have not done so as yet. Thanks for the suggestion.
