    Thanks for commenting, yes a bit hazy from backlighting, unfortunately I couldn't change my position as the BMX bikers were on the other side and nothing but water beyond that.

    Nice action shots John. If you have PS CC or Lightroom , it might be a good idea to try the dehaze slider. It makes wonders

    Thanks for comments and suggestions, unfortunately my version of LR (4.4) doesn't support the dehaze function. I wonder if there is something similar in NIK?

    Does ACR not have a such a tool? I don't use it much, but any de-hazing I want to do is done with DxO's 'Clearview' tool at the raw processing stage.

    Only Photoshop and LR cc.
