All three good shots, Nat..I can't choose a favourite. I just wish that with #2 you could have taken some more shots showing the beak of the dolphins. The young osprey looks scared. I wonder if it is wondering where its mother is for protection...?? the third shot is neat...too neat...

Re: Boat touring around Chincoteague Island Virginia
Thank you Izzie, John and Jim. The immature osprey was a bit scared as we could see right into the nest, it was built low on a duck blind....Momma was flying around very near....Izzie, the dolphins really did not get very high out of the water, and I was snapping away, and only got something like the below image once. I should have taken some video, but never thought about it.

Re: Boat touring around Chincoteague Island Virginia
The ones that I saw at Port Philip Bay in front of my house were quick and playful and they jumped and played and really enjoyed themselves while heading towards warmer waters...that was the reason I asked. But that was a long time ago...I still have my house there but do not over the pond often...

Re: Boat touring around Chincoteague Island Virginia
Wish I had a house on the water, Izzie, I would never leave! Thank you, Binnur and David. I wanted to reach in and pull that bit of plastic out of there ( momma must have found some trash on the shore) but that beak is pretty sharp! and I did not want Baby to fall into the water, I don't think it's old enough to fly yet!

Thank you, Kris.......you don't have to be much into birds to like watching the beautiful osprey. Just wish I could sit long enough to see the momma catch a fish and feed the baby! I may have to go back, but SOON, they grow so fast!
