Re: Bug Light
Jeff very nice composition, great clouds and who does not like lighthouses. I feel that you can add a bit of pop that will help with the story (lighthouse and clouds). If a GND filter were applied about -1/2 stop from top to horizion, then adjust the white higher so that the white wall of the lighthouse almost blows out (there is little detail to that wall anyways), not to worry about the whites in the clouds, compared to that wall they are black. Now darken the blacks so you get a good solid black on the top of the lighthouse and let the blacks fall where they will on the rest of the image as far as I could see no problem. Now that is just how I see it, I think that you will really see that lighthouse really jump up and out of the picture, it will be standing there shouting "Look at me, this is where the story is".
Cheers: Allan

Re: Bug Light
Beautiful view, nice sharp shot all over and the cloud texture is absolutely amazing...what else can I ask for...??? Nothing really. I love it.

Re: Bug Light
Both work very well for me Jeff. Really like the clouds over the lighthouse in the second one.

Re: Bug Light
Not sure about the first one Jeff. I think that it is the railings cutting through the schooner that bothers me a bit. The second one is a stunner.
