100 iso 1/100 f4 ?? on a hot sunny day 37C in Wien???

There are many ways to get the same result when shooting with a Digital Camera. The result is the final goal, not how you arrive at the result.

But when looking at this specific example where Steve had problems recognising what the camera was doing when attempting to clarify that through the viewfinder any recommendations of possible preferable 'modes/methods' should take this into account.

I found one I took at 70mm but I prefer the greys, the aspect is unusual but I do that. Also looking at it in Digital Photo Professional it was focussed on the ground well in front of the horses, I'll have to watch that.
