Hi Griddi, welcome back....
Nice capture. I love the expression and the different colours of the enclosure. I was curious about the purplish shade fringing the Orang Utan's face and thought the magenta's might be too vibrant, but I can't quite decide.( I've only ever seen this ape once at a zoo in the UK.)

Is this a shot from the Adelaide zoo, Griddi...silly question...nevermind...anyway I too find the purple-ish face a bit odd. So +1 to James' comment...he described it better than I would have.

After some of you pointed out the purple-sh tinge of the face etc. I noticed it too, and agree absolutely.......as I shoot RAW, I will * work * on the image again, using perhaps less saturation / contrast ............
