    Thanks all for the comments.

    Of all the little things I try and capture I think these are the most difficult. Very dark subject in very sunny environment makes it interesting.

    That's a nice capture Jim. So often, you can't avoid a busy BG but clearly not in this case. My only thought is to bring out just a little bit of wing detail. But not too much because the depth in the wings is nice.

    Thanks John. I did try but it's just not there to bring out, at least not with my weak PP skills.

    Would love to see some different edits on this one from the group.

    Jim, this is what I had in mind. I've used CS6 but any software with a selection capability and curves adjustment should do it.

    Thanks John and I tried what you did. It lightens the wings but adds no detail.

    These guys have wings like fine lace.
