Flowers what is happening to me?
This is another image that I took on Monday down at the neighbour's flowerbed. Think I will go down there on Wednesday early to catch the soft light of sunrise.

Great job on the exposure of the foreground petals, Allan! Hope your sunrise shot turns out about the same for them.
Um, what are the flowers, duh?

Great colors again Allan
The orange flowers look so lively and sharp. I would try reducing the brightness in purples a bit as they distract and make the composition busy.

Alan - next time, try to shoot them backlit. I find that this usually is the best way to shoot flowers and you get wonderful interplay between the parts of the flower and the translucence of the petais.

Nicely done, very dynamic rendering.

Try and separate the blooms from the purple background.
Blooms look better if separated from a busy background.
