personally since I have no views on 'bokeh' my first inclination was to look at the black and white points and when that adjustment was related just to the trunk I came up with a much more pleasing image .... but then I do not know who it was to be sent to.
My selection was not designed to be precise but rather merely to roughly separate trunk from b/g
