A goldfinch Silhuete. I like this photo because it break all the rules of composition. I like the position of the goldfinch and the background. Perhaps with a little more o DOF would be better.

I like it: it doesn't break all the rules - the diagonal is very strong. If anything, I might like less DOF, because I find the foliage a little distracting. If the outline of the finch and the branch it's on were the only sharp lines, they'd really grab your attention.

Very cool! I had to look at the original for a minute before I got it. That's "breaking down the 4th wall" or something like that.
