Probably looking down to where they threw the body and hoping it's covered up enough by the foliage!
Well, it's a suggestion!
Definitely looking at their reflection. Nice capture.
I think you have two images possible from this scene, Louise. The current crop shows those people being upstaged by that massive tree, which works fine.
But there is another option of reducing the top a little and possibly going around 5 x 4 ratio? This would produce a different sort of scene which would still retain the importance of that tree but concentrate more on the figures and path as well.
Not an either or situation but two completely different effects from the same shot.
Are they looking between the trees at a river or lake on which they have seen something of interest?
Nice photo and lovely colours.
Cheers.

+1 to Geoff . Very colorful and nice shot
Hey look guys, Donald's off his meds...again.Probably looking down to where they threw the body and hoping it's covered up enough by the foliage!
All it takes is one smart ___ to derail a legitimist thread.
The chastisement was directed inward Donald.
Thanks for the morning laugh, guys....
I have an old snapshot of a WW1 soldier with his sweetheart on a path known as Broken Bridge's in Salisbury taken in 1915, I often wonder what happened to them. In years to come this could also happen, they are staring into the river Avon.
