Re: To clone or not to clone; that is the question.
It is up to the author to decide if he wants to clone or not. Like so many other things in photography, there is no right or wrong answers, just options.
Manipulating images started almost as soon as photography did. BUT you need to make sure your cloning becomes invisible.
If it was my pic, I would take out the black lamppost, and then get rid of what looks like a horizontal pipe below where the shop sign was.
