Because your approach to the image is on the artistic side I think it is upto one's taste to like it or not David I like it. Have you tried cloning the reflections of the sails and leaving only the reflection of the boat for a plainer look? Just an idea, it is difficult to say if it works or not without seeing though.

I like it David, I wouldn't clone out the sails completely as Binnur suggested, but maybe lower the opacity on them so they are less dominant?

That's very nice. I can see that on a wall quite happily. Perhaps more rather than less saturation in the sails to bring out some colour for me, but not much. Nicely worked.
