Two different worlds. They had to collect water several times a day.
It's my daughter. She volunteered for 3 months in Ghana. The last 2 weeks I joined her and together we travelled through the country. The so called orphan houses are big bussiness there.

This image certainly has a moral, like Chauncey so aptly put it "the have's and the have not's"

This brought to mind an image of mine form my Li River excursion in China, many years ago. Again, IMO, this is another illustration of a comparison between the "haves and the have nots"

An interesting image, George. Makes me wonder what the story behind it is. Was this shot accidental or planned?

    Thank you for sharing.

Edit: just noticed the two posts above mine that appeared while I was typing.

There is no sadness in the image. All of them have water and have fun. It's just typicall for 2 different worlds.
Sadness should be feld with images of all those refugees trying to come to Europe at the moment and get drown on that beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea.

One more of those kids. These shots where made with my first DSLR, D80 and 18-200. Thanks to God, hear me, all in NEF.
