How strong will the The Perseid meteor shower be the night to 14th august ?

I was reading in my local newspaper her in norway that the The Perseid meteor shower would peak tonight. Sadly the skies are filled with clouds. But tomorrow night there is a much better weather forcast. Was planning to drive 1,5 hour away from light polution.
They said up to 100 in an hour tonight. But will there still be some tomorrow night? And how many can be expected?

Hope someone knows Live in norway in the northern hemisfer.

They're very difficult to predict exactly but since there's little moon then anyone with clear skies can be optimistic.

"On a night without a shower, you will see perhaps five meteors an hour if you watch continuously. At the peak of the Perseid shower under very dark country skies, you should expect to see 90 meteors an hour if you concentrate on looking straight overhead. That's about three meteors every 2 minutes."

I guess in norway you still have longer daylight hours than most of us which might complicate it a bit. Good luck!

I woke up early to watch the showers and I stayed long enough for two showers...and I live in the 'burbs where everything was lit all around, but that night was such a beautiful night (though a bit coolish). I took some shots but all I got was the starlit sky...the meteor were just too quick...plus it can be lonely when everyone is asleep and I was alone back there, made me think how beautiful it is out there like belonging to it and with it...
