    Frustrated

    Trying to get a shot of the Ironweed bloom but the butterflies keep getting in the way.

    Jim, beautiful capture... and you are right... out for the day looking for specimen wild flowers and the d~m$ed insects get in the way.
    Seriously though, I really like the light in this and the background is nicely subdued.

    if it weren't for bad luck you would have no luck at all. I am guessing somewhere between F/8 and 14 to get the depth of field and the nicely blurred bg?

    You're butterfly images are really inspiring Jim. Spring is nearly here in Oz so hoping to capture some of my own.
