I know a valid reason for this one. Some rail lines power trains through an overhead catenary charged with kilovolt power. The metal frame of an umbrella getting too close could discharge through to poor person holding it. It would also not be good for an umbrella to contact the third rail - More bright sparks, a loud bang, and someone dead or hurt.
This photo shows a third rail but the angle of view is too low to see if there is a catenary over the tracks.

In Germany nearly all electrified railways have powerlines overhead. I never read such a sign here.
The reading on the door means "Keep door shut due to noise". It is an older shot from 2008. The whole factory was shutdown half a year before I took the photos there, so there was no noise at all.

The "no umbrella" rule is for railway employees. There is a concern that if the railway worker is using an umbrella while on or near the tracks he/she might not see the train coming before it was too late. The sign was bizzare enough that I had to ask a train engineer why they had it.

The Poison Garden
One taken by my partner, on her Canon P & S, at Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland, England.
The Garden has a 'Poison Garden' section. Entry is with a guide via a locked gate. A number of the plants are grown only with a special government licence, and enclosed in these 'cages'. This is cannabis - Check the sign at the bottom right.
