Old Ironworks under the Stars (C&C Please)

This is not my usual bag so bear with me

This is a shot I took last night, it is of an old ironworks (and later tin works) that is about 5 minutes down the road from me opposite my old school.

I've been meaning to shoot it for awhile and I was bored last night so I thought why not.

Would love some C&C on this because as I said, its not my usual type of thing. Many thanks.

I can't speak to the style of post-processing because it's not my thing, but I will mention that the composition very nicely leads my eye to the tower in the center. Notice the bright thing on the left side of the base of the tower. That distracts my eye. Notice the orange thing on the right side of the top of the tower. That also distracts my eye because it's as if there are some leaves at the top of the tower. People who are more familiar with the tower may not be bothered by that, so consider my thinking in that context.

Thanks Mike, the orange thing at the top of the tower is actually a little tree of some sort growing up there!

That being the case, I would get rid of it if the image was mine.

I think I tend to agree.

I think removing it definitely improves the image:

Hi Matt . Is there a special lighting in that area or is it your PP ? I like the composition. As I said before where you live is beautiful

Hi Binnur, there is some LED lighting near the arches, but behind that tower/chimney is a hospital and they have yellowish lighting behind those trees.

It gave a surreal effect at night

I've started post-processing another version a little more conservatively so I'll post that when I finish it tomorrow.
