Wonderful pose Jim, great colours, sharp focus and good isolation from the background.

My thrill yesterday was knowing where I spied my hummingbird hides/lives...and so I got the thrill of protecting them from the bees...It was so cool...next I will try to see if they have a nest there...it will be interesting...

Sorry -- off topic, but they live in the tree which you see on the left side of my my shot...there are 4 of them, two adults and 2 babies also like the parents, a male and a female...they seemed to have learned how to fly very quick like the parents but smaller than them slightly now...I have been watching them daily and decided to move the feeder to the left most side of the shade some more yesterday noon, then trimmed a few branches off the tree like a little arch though inwards and loved it because it is an easy escape for them when they fly...now I can see how happy they are that they now sit on the arch of their feeder holder and two of them feed simultaneously and fly together, not just one by one. When it gets brighter today, I will take out my camera again and photograph them and hopefully be able to get a shot or two of them playing by my head...I am getting excited when they do that so at first I do not move when they are showing off now, I just do what I want, if I move my hand they just do their thing and hover above me and fly quickly away...they are such a delight to watch...
