Still Playing with Flowers
Yes still playing with flowers, this is a five shot stacked and hand blended image. I have been trying these as a learning exercise, one to slow down, thus checking to see that what I want in the frame is what I want in the frame and the blending of one or more images together. Not the best image, however very happy with the results.

Re: Still Playing with Flowers
An impressive blended shot, especially as it was hand blended. The subject matter is a bit messy on the lower right, but that is life!

Re: Still Playing with Flowers
Ideally, I would like to remove that little patch of blue in the background on the right. But not essential and the scene does work as it is now.

It is nice Allan,
A little less exposure would give more detail; the red channel looks clipped (on histogram) on this shot.
A good stack, although one more shot, focused even closer (if that is possible) - to get the left hand stamen sharper, would improve it further I feel.
Hope that helps, Dave

Very difficult to make a tight group of blooms work.
If you can find a single.

Re: Still Playing with Flowers
Yes Dave I was looking to get it the way I wanted and missed getting those 3 stamen in focus. Well it calls for no wind early in the morning so it looks like off the neighbours flower bed for more practice.

I know nothing about hand blending. I do know that if this is where you are starting from the skill sets you have and are developing are goung to take you to so me interesting places. Go for it!
