I was so busy critiquing the image that I didn't get it at first . . .
Been about a 100F here all this week, so no need for the above. The a/c's are busy draining my wallet, though. Being from Flordah, you'll know what I mean by that . .

Stay with long enough and you will be OK. You will still be cold but become philosophical about it. BTW, just love the way you have cleverly caught the two turbine blades in sync.
I've never been abroad until this year; I was like the average American, holiday at home. Since I have I've been freezing, lots of wood burning and woolly jumpers needed just like they have.
You missed solar Brian - there's some shadow there - and some blue bits in the sky beyond
That's quite a pleasing composition with;
- the trees balancing the wind turbines
- the different colours in fields of grass or crop at increasing distance, topped off by the blue sky
- even the white sheep and black birds (not blackbirds)
Cheers, Dave
Those birds would be rooks.
I agree it is a well balanced composition.
Very nice shots, Brian...but when you come back you will feel soooooooooo hot, you'd somehow wish you stayed longer...
Booze. That is another good way to keep warm in England, if not the best.
As for your picture, blue sky! We don't get many of those to the pound round here. You must have been in the West Country.
There is another way, but it needs a companion. And I don't mean the wooly kind
Dave
Ah! I know Peacehaven. Get to the beach. We have been having some lovely sunsets recently. And pop into Brighton or get halfway to Rottingdean. A pictureesque little village just outside the city and a few minutes drive or bus ride from Peacehaven. So much to see. Enjoy!
We got back from Florida last Sunday after 3 weeks in your summer. That was a real culture shock as it was in the high 90's when we left Rotonda West and just 50 when we stood shivering loading the car in Manchester Airport at 6am the following morning. I am really missing the pool out the back door.
The compensating factor is that it is much easier to get warm when it is cold than cool when it is hot.
