Nicely captured, needs a bit of noise reduction especially within the doorway.
Thanks John.
Good looking scene. Yes a bit of noise in places, but I suspect a little bit of selective noise reduction, or slight blur, on just those problem shadow areas would help the problem. Not an overly serious issue as it is now.
I agree with the noise reduction - especially of the interior of the shop... Otherwise this is a wonderful street image...
Thanks Geoff and Richard, yes there is noise in the interior (mostly), I'll play with it and see if I can reduce it somewhat.
Very nice shot...the women sitting down anchors this shot very much...the others already said something about the noise so I won't mention it. Without enlarging it, I love the composition very much.
Yes, I like the composition, too.
Funny thing about a bit of local noise - I think only photographers notice. I'll bet that you could show that to an interested member of the public and they'd enjoy the image and just not see it.
Dave
Thanks Dave, as for me I can live with a bit of local noise...and in my photography as well.
Thanks Izzie.
I love this one for the moment captured, and gorgeous colours... Sings Mexico! Looks like San Miguel de Allende or some colonial town. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Christina and you are correct, it is San Miguel de Allende
Jack - I've looked at this shot at least four or five times now, and I understand your compositional choices.
I think this would have been a far stronger shot had you pressed the shutter release a few seconds earlier, when the three women who are walking by were on the camera left side of the door. As it is, they are so close to the edge of the frame and on their way out, they detract from the shot more than they add.
That being said, I love the vibrant colours in the image. The Spanish speaking countries of Central and South America do colours so very well.
Manfred, I too would have preferred an earlier (or later) shot but, of the three shots I got, this one was far and away the better. Maybe not the 'best' but I'm not unhappy with it. Sometimes a shot is as much about luck as it is about vision and composition.
Well seen, Jack. I had the same thought as Manfred, though, I like the two groups of three, but I wish they didn't overlap.
Thanks Greg. Can't say as I disagree with you but, as the saying goes, wish in one hand, s*#t in the other and see which one fills up first
