    A Couple of Sydney Icons

Just got back from a weekend in Sydney. I managed to get a couple of late evening shots around the harbour.

    Comments welcome

Thanks for reminding me of how much I like Sydney Dave. I must go back some time. The majority of the steel used in the construction of the Bridge came from my home town.

Three nice shots Dave, no. 2 in particular. Love to visit some time. It's on the bucket list.

Nice shots, Dave. I'm glad the bridge wasn't flying the qld colours when you visited

The first image is a nice alternative view. I just wonder about a very slight crop from the bottom and right side to reduce the foreground 'heaviness' a little.

Thanks for your comments Peter, John, John, Greg, Jim, Geoff and Binnur. I did look at a crop as suggested when I was processing and did like the result. For some reason which escapes me now, I decided not to use it but it was effective.

That coat hanger is a nice touch...did you manage to climb it yet??? I am bugged to know which one I prefer between the three, Dave...the bowl of oranges looks good too as well as the first image which to me is an overview of the place you are in...are you back home to Brissie yet or you're still on holidays...??

Thanks for dropping by Izzie. No haven't climbed it but would like to. Yes back in Brissie, just in Sydney for the weekend so my wife could go to the Netball world cup.
