I was in Los Angeles and my hotel was next door to the Museum of Contemporary Art. They had some nice pieces there but overall, I was a little disappointed. It did, however, inspire me to look at things a little differently when I went out to take some pictures in the area. Some worked, some didn't, but trying something different is what makes it fun. At least for me.
Here are a few that I think came out OK. As usual, I am more interested in shape, color and tone than in realism. That said, this is what I saw that made me take the pictures in the first place.
Thanks for looking. C&C are always welcome.
P.S. Credit where credit is due. The fourth one is somewhat influenced by Gregory Lang's paintings, none of which are in the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
